OUR VINO
Our vineyards cover an extension of about 8 hectares,
they face south in a wide valley.
They have all been planted both with traditional grapes
of this area Sangiovese, Canaiolo and Colorino, and with grapes
Merlot, all of them are grown with spur cordon.
A vineyard of 2 hectares has been
replanted in 1999 with a density of 3500 plants/hectare, a second
vineyard of 3 hectares has been replanted in 2003 with a density of
5200 plants/hectare, while other 3 hectares have been planted in the
70s with a density of 2200 plants/hectare.
Each plant produces about 1,2 kg of grapes. |

CHIANTI
D.O.C.G.
The Chianti D.O.C.G. Sorrettole is our most traditional wine,
mainly produced with Sangiovese red grapes with the addition of
Colorino, Canaiolo and Merlot. It is vinired in steel tanks and
after a short maturation, it is bottled and marketed. It has a
ruby red color, a pleasant fruity aroma and taste dry and cool. |

CHIANTI COLLI FIORENTINI
D.O.C.G.
The Chianti Colli Fiorentini D.O.C.G. La Torretta is
produced with Sangiovese grapes for the most part. After the
fermentation in steel tanks, it is aged in barriques for one year,
before being bottled and aged in the bottle. The color is a deep
ruby red with violet hues, the nose capture the scents of red
fruits with notes of vanilla and toast, the palate is soft with a
long ®nish. |

TOSCANA ROSSO
I.G.T.
The Tuscan Red I.G.T. La Querce is a wine made from a careful
selection of the best bunches of Sangiovese and Colorino
grapes from our vineyards. After fermentation at controlled
temperature, maturation is in new French oak barriques for
about eighteen months before being aged in bottle for at least six
months. The color is intense ruby red impenetrable, the nose
is intense with aromas of red fruit and notes of liquorice and
spices, mouth denotes a com-
plex structure with soft tannins and a long, lingering taste. |

TOSCANA ROSSO
I.G.T.
The Tuscan Red I.G.T. M is a wine made from Merlot grapes
alone only in exceptional vintages, aged in new barriques for
about two years. The color is a deep ruby red, the nose is wide
and well marked with aromas of red fruit and hints of black
pepper. In mouth denotes a complex structure of considerable
elegance, with soft tannins and a long, lingering flavor with
hints of blackberry jam, the scents of red fruits with notes of
vanilla and toast, the palate is soft with a long ®nish. |

The Tuscan Passito I.G.T.
Dama Rosa is a wine produced with grapes Canaiolo. It is aged in
wood barrels for about a year. The color is pink, the nose turns
out to be large with a hint of powdered sugar, fruit notes are
gathered. In the mouth it is soft with a sugary fruit pulp, with a
long ®nish.ol. |
